Golden Ages Patent Fellowship

Our fellowship is a rigorous, 24-month program designed for students who are ready to think boldly and build solutions that matter. Fellows will ideally already have identified a real-world problem and a viable solution. The fellowship will challenge the students to further develop their innovative ideas, and translate them into practical, patentable solutions. Please see our full fellowship timeline below.

This fellowship is open to high school and college students. Applications are due by 11pm EST, May 1, 2026.

Fellowship Application

Are you a student who:

  • Is in high school or college?

  • Has identified a real-world problem and is developing a solution in the form of a device, method, or process?
    (If your idea involves software, it must be paired with a specific hardware component.)

  • Enjoys building, testing, or refining ideas rather than leaving them abstract?

  • Wants to understand how innovation intersects with ethics, law, and impact?

  • Is willing to commit time and effort to a multi-year, rigorous program?
